1 lb boneless, skinless chicken tenders
3/4 cup sugar
4 tablespoons ketchup
1/2 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
Hot cooked rice
Brown chicken tenders in skillet then cut into cubes. While chicken is browning mix sugar, ketchup, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic powder and salt to make the sauce. I just sprinkled what I thought looked good for garlic powder in the bowl. Didn’t measure. Put chicken back in pan after cubing and pour sauce over chicken. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve over rice.
**I also added some pineapple chunks and sauteed onions and green bell pepper. If you want it saucy double the batch!
