They just didn’t understand how you work and that it takes time and patience for your type of personality to feel secure in a relationship allow things to surface. I have been told the samething “Onion”. Reply Cindy Beers :) on April 2, 2016 at 7:00 pm Hi Jody, Murphy & Sam! I started listening to your show 2 yrs ago coz you were playing Christmas music before the other stations and I got hooked on who you all are and how great you all are Together! And, I wanted to put faces to the personalities! Very Nice! Sam is much cuter than I had thought! Hubba Hubba! Mmmmmmmm I love your show “Guys”! 🙂 Reply Karen A Yautzy on April 5, 2016 at 1:33 pm I’d date you if you were close, Facebook me, karen yautzy Reply Rose on April 21, 2016 at 1:33 pm Sam you sound like a great guy so just take time and you will find a nice lady who will understand you and will be able to help you get rid of those layers. If I was single I would date you. Reply Autumn Dagan on June 9, 2016 at 10:22 am Better to be an onion than a potato! Think about it. Onions are a mystery. So many different flavors. Potatoes… all taste the same. Keep trying, you’ll find your perfect onion match. 🙂 Reply Geralyn on July 20, 2016 at 11:37 am drove home Sunday afternoon (with a stop at Mi&1esotan#82n7;s Largest Candy Store) and I couldn’t help but feeling like we’d only scratched the surface of Mankato. There Reply peggy on October 16, 2016 at 12:12 pm I would go out with you It fells like I know alittle about you I listen all the time . Would love to meet you! Reply Tamela on December 30, 2016 at 1:35 am So, here I go…. been listening for a very long time. Truly look forward every morning to hearing the show- why you ask??? Sam- I must admit I’ve got a little bit of a crush on you (ok a big crush, can grown people have crushes?). Thank you for making my mornings great. All three of you crack me up & share great ideas and stories each & everyday. Especially you Sam, wink wink (sorry got something in my eye). Just gonna put this out there(I’m sure you get plenty of emails & names) but would be tickled pink to hear from you (literally pink cuz I’m tremendously ticklish and my face would turn pink from laughing so hard). Have a fantabulous day & I’ll be listening in the morning. Reply L on February 3, 2017 at 1:53 pm Happy Friday. Listen to you guys every day on way to work. 40 min drive! You have a good sense of humor. Laughed yesterday when you said you have been divorced 3 times. I too have. 1st time was only 4 mths doesn’t really count, lol others were 10 and 12 yrs. I’m good for a while anyway, haha Like to sit on the deck and grill out, even in the rain. Enjoy your Friday and keep us laughing. Reply Cheryl on February 15, 2017 at 5:15 pm Sam, Did you get a chance to watch “This is Us” last night? It was extremely intense!!! Can’t wait to see the next episode. It has to be the best written show on tv. “This is Us” makes you feel like you are right there with them. Soooo LOVING this show. Enjoy listening ALL DAY!!!!!! Reply MSJ Admin on February 15, 2017 at 5:59 pm (Sam) No I haven’t!!! I always watch it on Wednesdays when it’s on Hulu. So that’s going to be the firs thing I do when I get home today. Glad you enjoy it too (and thank you for not spoiling anything haha). Reply KELLEY D FUHRBACH on February 17, 2017 at 7:40 pm I listen to the 3 of you every morning on my commute from Medina Lake to the UTHSCSA (I work just adjacent to COX). What can I say…great Trio! Murphy adores Jodi, Jodi adores her daughters and dogs and Sam…well I adore him..he’s the “knit” of the three. Wish I could join you in the studio one day…this country girl loves to talk, listen and laugh. You 3 are special! Keep up the awesome parenting, loving and laughing. P.S. Yes, Murphy..your TDL pic looks just like you! Reply Chrystal Williams scott on March 15, 2017 at 4:52 pm I listen to y’all every morning and I feel like we are just one big happy family. Sam, I hate I have not been on any dating sites (well, not actively anyways) I think we would match up pretty well. I love music, photography and kids (although I don’t have any) I am divorced (2 years in june) and I have 4 dogs 😉 look me up on Facebook would love to get to know you. Reply Chrystal Williams Scott on March 15, 2017 at 4:54 pm Lol gosh that sounded strange huh. Reply Susan on April 24, 2017 at 1:39 pm You raised five great kids. That says a lot about you. Onion or potato… Reply Diana Hawkins on September 7, 2017 at 12:41 pm Sam, I heard you say this morning that you want to quit drinking. Please do! I watched my Sweetheart die slowly this summer from cirrhosis of the liver. What a horrible way to go! By the time he was diagnosed until he passed was 6 months of torment for him. The disease robs you physically and mentally. You have my support! I haven’t been able to take a drink since he was diagnosed. You can do it! Reply MSJ Admin on September 7, 2017 at 1:01 pm Thank you so much for reaching out and saying this Diana. It really means a lot. Reply Michael Hyder on September 18, 2017 at 10:30 pm Hi Sam I am kind of reluctant to bring up this subject that others can read I heard the part of the show about your 2 weeks clean. Congrats on that. I wanted to let you know I have 25 yrs clean and sober so if you need to talk to someone please feel free to contact me. Also I heard about your trouble sleeping. (Please don’t take this the wrong way only you know the answer to this.) I had the same trouble after I quit drinking and fought it for a year and half. It was depression. I told the doctor when I lay down to sleep it’s like I can’t turn off the light switch. And my mind keeps running. Something along the line I heard you say. Alcoholism and depression go together I learned thru AA. You have my information if you would like to contact me. Reply Helen on September 22, 2017 at 7:25 pm Hi Sam i would like to say you are a credit to people who have struggles in their lives and see that it is possible to overcome them, congratulations on getting yourself back into the dating game and wish you all the best. However i do have a question how do you determine who is actually being real on the sites i have tried them on many occasions and always end up deleting my accounts. Thank you to all of you for the radio show it is one of the best i listen too on my drives in the mornings. Reply Natasha Aguilar on October 27, 2017 at 12:49 am This is out of my character, but I have a huge crush on you. You are usually the reason why I listen. I think you have spunk and it is comforting. I myself am just so good and content being single and I naturally tend to focus just on my daughters and family. I have had some traumatic issues of betrayal in relationships and it has left me completely routinely robotic emotionally. Anywqys, I would love to meet you. I totally not a nut, very traditional, genuine, and honest. I too have done internet dating and people are just generic and fake. So I dismiss that idea, but I heard that you have at least opened that door, so I am hoping lightning can strike or if not it is cool. I just think you are a super guy. I asked Jodi and she said to just email you. My number 210-996-1948. Reply Jana on November 6, 2017 at 1:23 pm You are a cutie. You will find someone. Just be you. I would ask you out….Just might. Never know. Reply Sandra on March 11, 2018 at 9:57 pm Sam, I’ve been divorced 3 times also…the last one became final in January. The first one I rushed into..but got a beautiful daughter out of it..the 2nd one I was heartbroken that it ended..and the last..OMG…I couldn’t wait to get rid of him! LOL! But each were a lesson learned…take things slow…get to really know the person before you accept the proposal….At my age now, 55…I don’t think there will be another wedding..sure I want to date..have a man in my life, but not under the same roof. Relationships are hard…to me it’s not 50/50…it’s 100/100…otherwise it’s not going to last. I’m on POF too…that’s not exactly how I want to meet a man (although I have in the past) but I don’t hang out in bars…not sure how a working older woman is suppose to meet men. Anyway, I’m just jabbering on here, lol….good luck to you! Reply Submit a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
