6 cups sliced cucumbers
2 cups onions, diced
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp mustard seed
1/2 tsp celery seed
1/2 tsp ground turmeric

Place sliced cucumbers and diced onions in container.  In saucepan combine other ingredients boil and stir until sugar is dissolved.  Pour over cucumbers and onions.  Cover tightly and refrigerate at least 24 hours.  Stores for up to one month.
