Easy, Cool Banana Pudding

This makes a large serving and is so easy!

  • 4 or 5 bananas
  • 1 large box instant vanilla pudding (french vanilla is GREAT too)
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (14 oz) can condensed milk
  • 1 (12 oz) carton Cool Whip
  • 1 box vanilla wafer cookies

In large mixing bowl, mix pudding with milk according to package directions. Add condensed milk and Cool Whip. Mix with electric mixer. In a large serving bowl or trifle dish place sliced bananas and add some of the cookies. You can either layer bananas & cookies with pudding layers or just mix all together.  You CAN layer it to look pretty.  My Mom just throws it all in!  Either way – tastes great!  It is best if refrigerated overnight or at least 4 or 5 hours for pudding to set.

**Murphy likes more cookies than bananas.

My dad LOVES banana pudding, so do I. Whenever I make it for him I always use the pudding that you have to cook. I use one vanilla and one banana flavored box. Then I layer it. It doesn’t last too long around us… 😉 But I might have to try this recipe too.

I use the same recipe except I use more bananas. Also prefer the crunchy vanilla wafers. It is so hard to leave it over-night and sample.
