Homemade Blackberry Cobbler
ANYONE can make this. Serve hot, with vanilla ice cream on top. People will think you’re a genius – because you are.
4 cups of fresh blackberries
1 large egg
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
6 tablespoons melted butter
Put blackberries in a 9 inch square dish, squeeze a little lemon juice on them. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar and egg until it’s feels like a coarse cornmeal. Sprinkle that mixture evenly on berries. Drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until golden bubbly. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
