Well we are letting them go!! Reply PATSY on April 12, 2017 at 1:14 pm WHERE ARE YA’LL I SEEMED TO HAVE LOST YOU ON 98.7 Reply MSJ Admin on April 12, 2017 at 1:26 pm Station management decided to make a change that didn’t include us. We are very sad about it. You can let them know how you feel. It’s iHeartMedia Savannah. You can also still listen on our website or download the podcast – it’s free and easy. http://murphysamandjodi.com/on-demand/ -Jodi Reply Cynthia on April 14, 2017 at 9:56 am Glad you guys are still doing your podcast. 98.7 has made a poor choice and the mornings on their station are flat without your flare I’m scanning to find a new station and there is nothing out there that compares to you guys! I have never had a need for satellite radio when you were on the air but may have to subscribe now I will continue to be a loyal listener to you guys! Hang in there Reply MSJ Admin on April 14, 2017 at 10:58 am Cynthia, that really means a lot. Thank you for being such a loyal listener. We appreciate that. We appreciate you. -MSJ Reply Pattie Jackson on May 22, 2017 at 1:05 am The best part of my day was driving 40 minutes to work each morning and listening to your morning show! I am so disappointed. Miss hearing all of your family stories, recipes and just your radio voices. Every other station plays music in the morning, if I wanted music I would have chosen a different station. Praying for your return! Reply Kelly on June 8, 2017 at 1:14 pm My children and I loved listening to you in the morning on 98.7. I could have the radio on and know that everything would be appropriate to hear. Sorry they made such a poor choice. Now I am back to listening to the Trolls soundtrack Reply MSJ Admin on June 8, 2017 at 2:24 pm Thank you so much Kelly. We really appreciate that. Reply Joni Morris on June 28, 2017 at 9:33 pm I love to listen to you in the morning. You guys are great. Reply MSJ Admin on June 29, 2017 at 11:10 am Thanks Joni! Reply betty on July 1, 2017 at 5:16 pm I think I heard on the show a couple weeks ago they had a little discussion about seeing shoplifting and telling the cashier about it. I work for a Walmart and it disgusts me we can do anything about this. Even if an employee sees this they can’t do anything about it the only person that can do anything at all is management and an A.P. associate and they can’t do much. You can’t ask the person because that would be offensive to them you if you see it your supposed to contact one of these people but if you move out of line of sight then it’s over because they could have set it down without you seeing so they item is gone. Anything that the person is eating or drinking you can’t ask for a receipt because that would be rude you also can’t do anything because they may have paid ahead or ready to pay for the empty on the way out the door you haft to assume they will pay for it. Anything slipped into a bag you are supposed to assume they are carrying it there and will pay for it latter. We just had our yearly inventory to see about shrink “the amount of unaccountable assets” this year we were up we only lost just over $500,000 in stock compared to last year’s almost $750,000 so management is happy. We are a high traffic store and we can make that in sales in a day but the sheer volume of lost merchandise is sickening. It is nice of you to let someone know though. Reply Emily Carrizales on July 3, 2017 at 9:45 am I am a mother of two girls as well! I have been looking for a great morning show to listen to that is for an adult (lol) and good for two little ears. Thanks for having a great show that the whole family can listen to on our rigorous drive in the mornings. Reply MSJ Admin on July 3, 2017 at 11:29 am Happy you found us Emily. And thanks for listening. 😉 Reply Michelle on September 7, 2017 at 5:36 pm We listen to you on the way to school – my 9 year old was excited when school started because it meant MSJ mornings! Just not getting up that early in the summer! Its great to have something interesting and informative in the mornings – and my husband and daughter foster pups too! Reply Marietta G. on September 13, 2017 at 1:03 am You make my 30 minute work commute bearable. I found you guys by accident one morning on 101.9 in San Antonio and have been hooked since. I love your family friendly subject matter (my 6 year is along for the ride) and love the dynamics of your trio. Thanks for making morning radio fun again. Reply MSJ Admin on September 13, 2017 at 11:14 am Thank you for saying that Marietta. We greatly appreciate it. Glad you found us and happy to hear you enjoy the show! Reply Amy on October 22, 2017 at 2:14 pm Where did you go on the iPhone podcasts? Haven’t had a new episode since October 13. Even tried to unsubscribe and then re-subscribe in hopes that I could see new episodes, to no avail! Missing listening to you every day! Reply MSJ Admin on October 23, 2017 at 10:59 am Hi Amy. We were experiencing some technical difficulties with out podcast. The issue should be resolved now but let us know if you’re still having issues receiving it. Reply Louie Boedecker on December 22, 2017 at 12:30 pm I enjoy listening to your Christmas music this time of year! I am reminded of when I was stationed in Germany in the late seventies. my unit sponsored a local German Orphanage ran by nuns and during Christmas soldiers in my unit would get the names of the children in the orphanage and purchase them gifts. A few days before Christmas we would bring the children into the mess hall and have a get together to pass out gifts and spend a little time together. It made for a special time of year! It would make my year if you could find “I Love Christmas” by Tommy James Thanks Merry Christmas-Lou Reply Robert C Lord on March 8, 2018 at 1:46 pm How about another old musical…. cabaret Reply Teresa on May 11, 2018 at 4:58 pm Weird Things Dogs Eat: Our dog ate a metal grill brush last year. Not just a little……the whole metal part. I didn’t realize this until she threw up most of it. Can you imagine???? Why, Why, Why? I still don’t understand. When we took her to the vet she still had a small bundle in her stomach….that was an expensive vet trip. 🙁 NOT the first time she has eaten odd things. We have to keep a really close eye on her. She is seven now, and we don’t see an end to the endless eating of odd things. Good….and NOT so good to hear that we are not the only ones who have a neurotic dog. UGH!!!! I love your show. Thank you so much for the endless hours of weekday morning entertainment….Teresa Reply Debbie Palmer on July 9, 2018 at 10:19 am where is the list of toys that may be worth some money? The Scottish woman also read another book that is just as funny. I think listening to her try to get through the story between the tears of laughter is what makes the book so funny. The other book you should check out is “I Need a New Bum,” this is just as funny listening to her read it. Here is the link. Reply Madison Phillips on December 6, 2018 at 8:20 am I am listening in school Reply Melissa on December 7, 2018 at 4:27 pm Hi guys! I love listening to your show every morning as I get ready for work. This morning though I heard something very sad…. Santa said something about how you can tell nice kids from the naughty kids because they are the ones who get all the nice (?) presents. Sorry, I can’t remember how it was worded but there are so many kids out there who are good kids but their parents do not have the means to buy fancy presents. There are many who do not get anything unless they are blessed to receive presents from the wonderful generous people of our community. That being said, I hope that you all have a very Merry Christmas and a safe and prosperous New Year. Reply Gayle Ferguson on December 10, 2018 at 10:06 am About our Favorite Christmas Movie : Jodi will probably like this one 🙂 “Smokey Mountain Christmas” with Dolly Parton and if you have a “smart T.V.” you can watch it on “You Tube” That was my first Christmas movie this year 🙂 Love , Love, Love your show …. Ya’ll are the BEST! Reply mary ann hesdorff on December 13, 2018 at 11:49 pm Have the kids seen Die Hard yet? Fathom Events re-ran it again last month at some movie theatres for it’s 30th birthday. It’s even better now. Definitely a Christmas movie. Reply Jenni Ahmed on January 8, 2019 at 6:22 am Rules: -You text when you leave/arrive (and she has rarely forgotten but yeppers, I showed up at school in front of all her friends!) -Always have the tracker in the car. We use an app (Hum) to track “the car” and if anything would happen to the car we get a text. Fortunately that has not happened (except speed alerts when my husband drives that car!!!) -You need other parents permission to drive their child, and I better have a parents contact info -Know that you are the most precious thing to us, we want you to grow and be a good person and it’s our job to keep you safe, healthy and happy! You will get thru this! Mama J (Our 17 year old is a good kid, it’s the almost 13 year old that’s making me nervous!!) Reply Lynn Bishop on January 17, 2019 at 9:29 am Hi, I heard yesterday morning on my drive in to work while enjoying your show (as always) about sending Valentine cards to Greenville Children’s Hospital. Can you please tell me where to find the info on your page for this. I want to get our company involved. Thanks! Lynn Reply MSJ Admin on January 18, 2019 at 7:04 am Magic 98.9 Website | This should work for you! Reply Jean on May 9, 2019 at 11:47 am Just wanted to say that I listen to your morning show often and really enjoy it. I was a little taken back this morning when a comment was said that It is a little Odd if a person goes on a cruise solo. Well I just wanted to let you know that I am one of those people. I am single at 50+ and most of my friends are in a relationship. I have always traveled and love it; however, after my divorce of several years, I did not travel at all. I finally just said to myself …just go and do it! I did this year and it was Amazing! The cruise line went out of their way to make my trip so much Fun. Additional, I met some Wonderful people and will do it again. Thanks! J Reply CARA - mother to a graduating senior on May 21, 2019 at 2:34 pm Hi everyone, Jodi I was listening to the show yesterday and heard you talk about getting emotional at the graduation ceremony for your nephew. You talked about how you didn’t know how you were going to hold it together when your daughter graduates next year. Well, my daughter will be graduating from high school on June 1, just a little over a week away. I have cried off and on all year long ! Our oldest, a son, graduated 3 years ago, so you think this wouldn’t be so hard. But no, it is worse ! I am so excited for her though. She has plans to attend a great college (3 1/2 hours from home ) where she is going to thrive and do great things. So hang on tight Jodi, the emotions will hit you when you least expect it. Love listening to the show ! Reply Submit a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
