A lot of couples think marriage is 50/50,it isn’t, it’s both of you working 100 percent together to make it work .In an argument say what’s to be said and let it go and move on. Don’t dwell on what was said. I married my husband at 18 years old.We have been married 39 soon to be 40 years. This works for us.

Communicate
Listen
If you don’t understand, ask a question
Don’t make assumptions!

Just because something means one thing to you do not assume it means the same to your spouse.
(Example: my brother’s version of quality time is sitting down and watching a movie/tv show with his wife. His wife’s version of quality time is sitting down (no tv) and talking about their day, the kids, etc.)

Important: NEVER STOP DATING!
