3 cans of biscuits
1 cup sugar
2 Tbs cinnamon
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 stick margarine
Topping
2 cups powdered sugar
3 Tbs milk
1 tsp vanilla or almond extract
Mix together sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon. Separate and quarter all the biscuits. Roll each biscuit piece in the sugar mixture until coated and place in a lightly greased tube or bundt pan. Pour the remaining sugar mixture over the biscuits in the pan. Melt the margarine and pour that over the biscuits in the pan as well. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
While it’s baking you can make the icing. Mix together the powdered sugar, milk and extract and set aside.
Remove the bread from the oven, remove it from the pan, and place on a plate. Poor/drizzle the icing over the top and serve.
Sounds good. Another tasty option is to bring to a boil 1 package “Cook” butterscotch pudding, 1 stick of butter, about 1/4 cup brown sugar. Pour that over the plain biscuit pieces and then bake. You can also use the frozen bread dough balls and do it the night before, covering the pan with a towel/plastic wrap and let it rise, then bake in the morning.
Another topping option I use …..
1 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons milk
1 cup pecans
Combine brown sugar, milk & pecans stir well put in bottom of a buttered Bundt Pan.
Kids loved it. So did Pawpaw…lol
