Valentine’s Day classroom ideas!

Watch Jodi make some Valentine’s Day treats!  Fun for the whole family :o)

-Easy Valentine’s Day Cookies
white melting chocolate
Strawberry wafer cookies
variety of Valentine’s Day sprinkles (or just red and pink sprinkles!
parchment or wax paper

Start by melting your chocolate as directed on package. While you are waiting for the chocolate to melt, gather your sprinkles and cookies. Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. This will prevent sticking while the cookies dry. Once chocolate is melted, dip the top half of a wafer cookie. Quickly sprinkle on your chosen sprinkles. Place on prepared baking sheet to dry.

Love Smores! – A graham cracker, miniature Hershey bar, heart shaped marshmallow in a ziploc bag!
For Boys – buy a bag of plastic bugs!  You could glue a magnet to the back of them (just be careful with magnets!!!) Click here for a great visual!
– Producer Emilie made Heart Shaped crayons for Jake class last year!  Click here to find out how to make them.

Personalized Sucker cards! Producer Emilie wants to try this idea this year for Jake.  You take a picture of your child, get some pics printed out with some cute printed on it and then cut out holes in the pic and slide a sucker through the holes!  I’d use Tootsie Roll pops because the kids in Jake’s class are too young for gum!

Emily I love the crayons showed you the ones I made. I love the picture idea. I would love to that for my daughter’s class next year but how about get a picture of each child with their hand like they are holding something then punch a hole at each end & put the pop through it & give it to the child to take home. Instead of pictures of just your child who is giving it out saying Happy Valentine’s. Any other idea’s?
