Why we like to be scared…

(Want  more from Murphy Sam and Jodi? Listen to them chat AFTER THE SHOW!)

Why do people enjoy the thrill of being scared? This goes beyond just watching scary movies. This goes into scary actions like skydiving, haunted houses and more. According to science we crave the panic sensations because we don’t have them in our day to day lives, and we like to challenge ourselves. We naturally like to push our limits to see just how much we can take. It gives us such an adrenaline rush and makes us feel stronger physically and emotionally. And once it’s over, we get such a sense of relief for getting through whatever scary activity we were enduring. Jodi explains in the video below or you can read more about it, HERE!

How about “when a stranger calls”? Have you checked the children?!!!
If you think that’s bad, catch the sequel when baby sitter is in college in, “When a Stranger Calls Back”.
